This User Agreement governs your use of SA Freelancers, a South African-developed platform connecting freelancers and clients.
By registering or using this platform, you agree to be bound by this agreement. If you do not accept any part of this User Agreement,
you must refrain from using SA Freelancers. This agreement, together with our Terms of Service, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy,
constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and SA Freelancers.
By creating an account or accessing the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood,
and agreed to comply with all terms outlined in this agreement.
Your continued use of the platform signifies your acceptance of any updates or amendments to the User Agreement,
which SA Freelancers may implement from time to time.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts in South Africa.
You represent and warrant that all information provided during registration is accurate, complete, and current.
SA Freelancers reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these eligibility requirements.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account login credentials and any activity performed under your account.
Any actions conducted through your account are your sole responsibility.
You agree to notify SA Freelancers immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account or any security breach.
SA Freelancers provides a secure marketplace for freelancers to offer their services and for clients to hire qualified freelancers.
Users must use the platform responsibly and in accordance with South African law. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to,
fraud, harassment, misrepresentation, infringement of intellectual property, and any activity that disrupts or compromises the platform’s operations.
Freelancers agree to provide services as described in their packages, deliver work within the agreed timeframe,
and communicate professionally with clients. Clients agree to provide accurate project details,
pay for services rendered promptly, and provide feedback or approvals as required.
Both parties must act in good faith and honour their commitments.
SA Freelancers may collect a commission or service fee on transactions facilitated through the platform.
All payments must be processed through the designated payment gateways.
Users are responsible for ensuring that payments are accurate and timely.
SA Freelancers is not liable for payments made outside the platform or for disputes arising from such payments.
Users retain ownership of their original content, work, and materials uploaded to the platform.
By using SA Freelancers, you grant the platform a limited licence to display your content for the purposes of providing services,
promoting projects, or facilitating transactions. Users must not use the intellectual property of others without permission.
SA Freelancers provides tools to facilitate communication and transactions between users,
but is not responsible for resolving disputes or guaranteeing the outcome of any project.
Users are encouraged to resolve disagreements professionally and in good faith.
Any unresolved disputes may be escalated to the appropriate legal channels in South Africa.
Users may close their accounts at any time, subject to completion of pending obligations.
SA Freelancers reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this User Agreement,
engage in unlawful activities, or threaten the security or reputation of the platform.
Termination does not release users from liabilities or obligations incurred prior to account closure.
SA Freelancers may update or modify this User Agreement at any time. Users will be notified of material changes
via the platform or email. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of
the updated terms. Users are responsible for regularly reviewing the User Agreement to stay informed of any modifications.
This User Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes arising from this agreement or your use of SA Freelancers
shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
